Lynne Gimblin

Office Coordinator
Lynne worked at Reno Sparks MedSpa 2010-2012 and returned in 2018. She taught adult education and English as a second language for 33 years for Washoe County Schools, retiring in 2015. Her teaching experience has been helpful with her HR duties at Reno Sparks MedSpa. She is responsible for hiring employees, bill paying, banking, collaborating with the marketing team and accountant, planning and hosting educational seminars, scheduling team training and other important tasks. She is very organized and gets a lot done. Lynne is a no-nonsense manager that believes how you treat people matters. She holds others accountable but shows care and compassion. Lynne is a valuable team leader at Reno Sparks MedSpa. She has had just about every procedure we do performed on herself at least once. She speaks good English and some Spanish. In her spare time, she likes to travel and spend time with her family.

Carolina Cardona

Medical Assistant
Carolina Cardona started working for Calvin H. Van Reken, MD at the Reno Sparks Med Spa in May 2021. She particularly loves being in a position to help people. Being a medical assistant provides her the opportunity to care for others. She assists the doctor with sclerotherapy, mole removal and all the other medical procedures done in the office. Carolina is a very kind person and speaks both English and Spanish. In her free time, she likes to travel and enjoys spending time with her family.

Caroline Roman

Medical Assistant & Laser Technician
Carol started working at Reno Sparks Medspa in early 2012. Her duties include scheduling, handling phones, chaperoning, helping with procedures and others. She is the master of lasers and does her procedures carefully and competently. She is trained and certified on all our cosmetic equipment including the Cosmopen Microneedling Pen, ELOS Plus Ematrix radiofrequency, ELOS Plus IPL (intense pulsed light), Lutronic Infini radiofrequency, Cynosure Medlite C6 laser platform, Syneron CO2RE Intima and CO2RE Aesthetic CO2 laser, (Syneron/Candela Gentle YAG PRO laser hair removal system, Candela Vbeam Perfecta pulsed dye laser, Cynosure PicoSure laser and our varicose vein 1470 laser leg vein ablation system. She has over 80 hours of laser and other procedure training and extensive laser experience. She is very experienced at performing Infini Radiofrequency procedures for skin tightening and acne scar as well as PDT (photodynamic therapy) for acne and sun damage. She draws blood for platelet rich plasma (PRP) injection. She can perform HydraFacials. She loves our patients and clients and the patients really like her as well. She is a kind, caring person who is a good team leader. She has a sweet personality with a great sense of humor and she’s usually either laughing or smiling. She makes a killer cup of coffee. She is fluent in English and Spanish. At home she has two kids, her boyfriend and her extended family.

Oscar Munoz

Medical Receptionist
Oscar joined Reno Sparks Med Spa in September 2020 he has been in the medical field for about 3 years and counting . Oscar is currently a medical receptionist and helps out in any area needed. Oscar has worked in customer service since the age of 17. He has done management work, customer relations, collections, and more. He is very kind, respectful and eager to learn. He is fluent in Spanish and English. Oscar is very family oriented and enjoys spending his free time with family and friends and his dog, Chai.
