Let’s face it, those fine lines and wrinkles that accumulate as we get older do very little to enhance our appearance. Most of us would love to get rid of them, or at least soften them up a bit, but who wants to deal with the cost and pain associated with surgery. Luckily, there are now some inexpensive, anti-aging skin treatments that can give you a non-surgical face lift.

If you’re bothered by facial wrinkles, loss of skin elasticity, pigment changes, age spots and volume loss caused by aging and sun exposure, we have many surgery-free options available. These include Botox Wrinkle Treatments, Juvederm Lip Injections, and other facial and nonfacial Juvederm Injections (Including Juvederm Ultra XC, Juvederm Ultra Plus XC, Juvederm Volbella XC, Juvederm Vollure XC and Juvederm Voluma XC).

Fractional Laser Skin Resurfacing using our state of the art Cynosure PicoSure Laser, Syneron CO2RE CO2 Fractional Laser and our Cynosure SmartSkin CO2 Fractional Laser are effective. Sun damage, sun spot and birth mark removal is possible with many Lasers, including the PicoSure, CO2RE and Cynosure MedLite C6. Other sun damage treatments and precancer treatments including PDT (photodynamic therapy) and prescription medications are available.

Radiofrequency and Laser treatment for rosacea and spider veins are successful using our Candela Vbeam Perfecta Laser, Gentle Yag Pro and the Ellman Surgitron. Laser or IPL photofacials with little down time are possible with our PicoSure, Medlite C6, Gentle Yag Pro and our IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) machines.

Acne Scar Correction is done using the PicoSure, CO2RE and Vbeam Lasers and the Syneron Ematrix radiofrequency device. Dr. Van Reken performs TCA CROSS for ice pick acne scars, an acid treatment, which often reduces scars by 50-75%. He also does Acne Subcision Surgery which is used for wider, atrophic acne scars. Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) injections with Microneedling are also helpful for scars and sun damage. We treat active acne using topical prescription and nonprescription creams and pills. Acne treatment procedures include Acne Cyst Drainage (covered by insurance), Chemical Peels, Lasers, Ematrix radiofrequency and PDT. Laser Hair Removal is easy with our bilingual, friendly, laser techs and the effective, safe, Gentle Yag Pro Laser, which has the 1064 nm wavelength that is safe for all skin colors and types.

Mole removal using radiofrequency without stitches or scalpel is popular, as is curetting of surface lesions such as seborrheic keratoses and dermatosis papulose nigra. Skin tag removal is a snap in Dr. Van Reken’s hands. We have videos under the “gallery” menu item above for these and many other procedures. Melasma (chloasma) treatments using products, chemical peels and the PicoSure and MedLite Lasers are effective and sought after. We offer Laser, PDT, biopsies, surgery and other treatments for Skin Cancer and Precancers (actinic keratoses). Microneedling with the CosmoPen device with or without PRP is helpful for skin tightening, irregular texture and sun damage. Facials, microdermabrasions and chemical peels by our aestheticians will make you feel pampered, help acne and smooth your skin.

Sclerotherapy for spider veins and varicose veins and Laser Vein Removal can handle small spider veins and larger veins. Very large, painful veins can be destroyed by Dr. Van Reken using Endovenous Laser Ablation, which is often covered by health insurance and has minimal down time.
